Accommodations
Room are being held for $119 single/double per night until 10-1-06. Please mention Childhood Communication Seminars when making reservations.
A limited block of hotel rooms has been reserved at each hotel. When making your reservation, mention Childhood Communication Seminars to get the special group rate. Reservations will be made on a space available basis. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation in the mail. If registering within one week of the seminar, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Cancellation Policy
If you have registered and cannot attend, you may send a substitute without penalty. A $50 cancellation fee will apply to all registrants who give written notice by 2 weeks prior to the seminar you are registered for. No refunds will be granted after that date. Purchase orders are considered the same as a check and the same policy will apply.
Continuing Education
SLPs: Childhood Communication Seminars is approved by the Continuing Education Board of ASHA to offer continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. This program is offered for 1.1 CEUs for two-day and 0.6 CEUs for one-day seminars (Various Level, Professional area). ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clinical procedures. Professional educators, therapists, care providers and administrators will receive a course certificate verifying up to 11 hours of instruction.
OTs: Approved for OT recertification.
MA Educators: Childhood Communication Seminars, Inc. is a registered provider for the state of Massachusetts. .6 CEUs are awarded for attendance for Day 1. PDPs may be received from your district by combining these hours with follow-up activities in their district for a total of 10 or more hours. A certificate for 12 PDPs will be awarded for attendance for Days 2 & 3. A certificate for 18 PDPs will be awarded for attendance for Days 1, 2 & 3.
CT Educators: Currently applying to become a Connecticut Approved Provider.
RI Educators: Childhood Communication Seminars, Inc. is registered with the RI Dept of Education as a Professional Development Vendor.
All attendees will receive a certficate of attendance.
