Training in the 10-Step SCERTS® Assessment Process & Curriculum: A child and family-centered observational assessment process that provides quantifiable measures of progress and data-based decision-making. Case presentations of children at a variety of levels.
SCERTS® in Action: Making SCERTS® work in school, home and community settings. Practical implementation strategies for coordinating goals and objectives for children at three developmental levels—Social Partner, Language Partner, Conversational Partner. Strategies to link child and partner goals.
Approaches to enhance support to families and support among professionals.

This 2-day SCERTS^® seminar will be held at the Rhode Island Shriners Imperial Room, One Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI 02905 401-467-7102 Complimentary parking at the Imperial Room. A block of rooms will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 2100 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02893 for $119 standard room per night. Complimentary shuttle to/from the airport. You will receive a confirmation in the mail. If registering within one week of the seminar, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Cancellation Policy

If you have registered and cannot attend, you may send a substitute without penalty. A $50 cancellation fee will apply to all registrants who give written notice by 2 weeks prior to the seminar you are registered for. No refunds will be granted after that date. Purchase orders are considered the same as a check and the same policy will apply.

Continuing Education

SLPs: Childhood Communication Seminars, Inc. is approved by the Continuing Education Board of ASHA to offer continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. Day 1 is offered for .5 CEUs (Introductory level; Professional area); Days 2 & 3 are offered for 1.1 CEUs (Advanced level; Professional area). ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clinical procedures.
OTs: Approved for OT recertification through NBCOT for 5 contact hours for Day 1; 11 contact hours for Days 2 & 3
MA Educators: Childhood Communication Seminars, Inc. is a registered provider for the state of Massachusetts. 5 PDPs will be awarded for attendance for Day 1; 11 PDPs will be awarded for Days 2 & 3.
